Alfonso Soriano began one of his famous hot streaks at the end of April 2010.  He had been hitting well in the number six spot and you could tell he was just swinging better than he did the first two weeks of the season, or even almost all of 2009. In 17 games since April 16th, Soriano is batting .375 (21-for-56) with six home runs, 17 RBI and a 1.285 OPS. DAMN!

From April 30 through May 4, 2010 Alfonso Soriano hit home runs in four consecutive games. During that span he hit five home runs and drove in 11 runs. Not coincidentally, the Cubs were also 3-1 in that time. You may remember that Soriano got off to a hot start last April as well so who knows how he will finish the season, but if Lee and Ramirez can catch up to him and return to their career numbers than the Cubs will be just fine.
