Carlos Zambrano No Hitter Statue
The Carlos Zambrano No Hitter Commemorative Statue was released as a Wrigley Field only promotional giveaway to the first 10,000 fans attending the Reds versus the Cubs game on April 11th, 2009.
The Carlos Zambrano Statue was created to commemorate the historic no hitter Zambrano pitched on September 14, 2008. This is a limited edition collectable and only 10,000 have been made.
This is a fun piece of Chicago Cubs memorbilia for Carlos Zambrano fans, myself included. We all know what an exciting player he can be and the dominant pitching performances he’s capable of.
Even though Zambrano did not actually pitch, Rich Harden and the Cubs offense both had great games and the Cubs won 7-2.
Go Cubs, Go BIG Z!
