Chicago Cubs Year One

Chicago Cubs Year One – It’s the new slogan for the Chicago Cubs baseball team in 2010.  It’s year one of the new Cubs owner Tom Ricketts.  It’s year one of a new way of running the organization.  There will be accountability.  There is an owner who cares, who is a fan, not just a board of directors of a bankrupt newspaper trying to maximize profits.  There will be accountability.  There will be changes, though all of them not right away.

It all starts now.  It’s year one.  The past doesn’t matter.  The 100+ years don’t matter.  The Cubs not winning the World Series in 1910 has no bearing on the team in 2010.  It doesn’t matter.

This is the Chicago Cubs: Year One
