Cubs Sweep the Diamondbacks in Fall Preview
Pull out your Santate banners because the Chicago Cubs have swept the Arizona Diamondbacks!
I know it’s only May but the Cubs needed this. We needed revenge for getting knocked out of the playoffs last year by them. We needed the Cubbies to beat the team with the best record in the majors and show they were for real. They did it, did it decisively and showed they could come from behind to beat a real good team.
It felt good. Real good.
This is a preview of things to come.

As one of the few remaining members of a dwindling “cult,” maybe you could see if there are any more of us out there.
The cult I speak of is “Next Year in Wrigley Field!” cult. We believe, that one day the lads with a big “C” on their caps will return to Wrigley Field in October.
I doubt, if I am the last one, but know of no others.
Yes, I was there in 1945 with my dad. I watched with him, I was 6 at the time, the Cubbies lose, which seems to be the norm, sigh!
