The cult I speak of is “Next Year in Wrigley Field!” cult. We believe, that one day the lads with a big “C” on their caps will return to Wrigley Field in October. I doubt, if I am the last one, but know of no others. Yes, I was there in 1945 with my dad. I watched with him, I was 6 at the time, the Cubbies lose, which seems to be the norm, sigh!
