Cubs Win Third Straight Walk Off

Cubs Win Third Straight in Extras!
So normally I take Saturdays off from blogging but I’m just so excited because the Cubs just won their third straight dramitic, come from behind, walk off victory! It’s so good after a tough start to the month, you just love to see them start to pick up momentum.
The Cubs were down 4-5 going into the bottom of the thirteenth. Kosuke Fukudome started the inning off with his fourth hit of the day with a single. Fukudome stole second and then the Indians catcher threw the ball into center field on the pick off throw, sending Fukudome to third. Andres Blanco then tied it up on a base hit, contributing to the Cubs victory for a third straight game himself. Miles base hit bumped Blanco over to third and then the Cubs won the game on a wild pitch from Kerry Wood.
That’s right, Kerry Wood. His former team has shown him no love between the basepaths. Off the field the Cubs players and fans have nothing but love for Kerry Wood, but once the game has started, they’ve knocked him for two blown saves in a row against his old team. We still love you Woody but this is business here, and business is good.
GO CUBS!
