Denise Richards Sings “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” at Wrigley Field

Wow.  This may be the best, and by best I mean Worst, version of “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” since Ozzie Osbourne a few years ago.  This jumped right into the top ten of worst celebrity 7th inning stretch singers.  “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” is not as easy as it looks, and people do less than stellar versions of it all the time, but this one is particularly memorable.

And… she doesn’t even know the words.  She’s constantly looking down at them.  This is a common theme when people do terrible renditions of “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” or “The National Anthem”.  I don’t care how awesome you think you are, you shouldn’t get in front of crowds of 40,000+ people to sing when you don’t know the freakin’ lyrics.  It ALWAYS looks bad.

It also makes you look dumb if you have to look at the lyrics to count “1…2…3″.  Practice at home if you have to.

  1. [...] okay.  Mostly I just ask that you at least know the words to the song!  (I’m looking at you Denise Richards)  So Mr T filled that qualification and he’s always fun to get in front of the cameras.  [...]
