Lou Pinella Raps With Ozzie Guillen in Crosstown Classic Chevy Commercial 2007
Crosstown Classic Chevy Commercial 2007
Lou Pinella + Ozzie Guillen + Rapping = Instant Classic
This commercial starring Chicago Cubs manager Lou Pinella and Ozzie Guillen just makes you go “wow” doesn’t it? You just can’t seem to look away and yet it’s so terrible. It also makes you smile. I would put this into the category of things that’s “So bad it’s good”, like an old B horror movie.
The commercial is one those that is made every year to tie-in to the annual Cubs vs White Sox series. It’s much funnier than your average car commercial which is usually a smiling family cruising down the road or car of attractive multicultual friends headed out for a night on the town. I don’t know if the strategy of targeting Cubs and Sox fans really works though, does anyone think to themselves “Hey, I like the Cubs, I should go buy a new Chevy pickup truck right now!” But what do I know? If you bought a Chevy after veiwing this commercial please comment below
If you’re still looking for Cubs vs White Sox tickets you better move fast. They can still be found in the $50-$80 a piece range if you’re looking. Get your tickets now.
