Randy Wells First Win Watch: 0-3

Randy Wells Can Always Dream

Randy Wells Awaits His First Major League Win

In an earlier post (Welcome to the Chicago Cubs Randy Wells) I talked about how Randy Wells should have had his first major league win by now if not for the Cubs continually blowing his leads.  Instead of being 4-1 and being talked about as a Rookie of the Year candidate, our pal Randy Wells is 0-3.  The loss he took last week is the first one he can actually blame on himself as he had his first poorly pitched game this season.

But Randy Wells is still in the rotation and his next start is already planned: Wednesday June 17th against the White Sox, a team who has made stories for having trouble scoring runs this season against rookie pitchers.  Well here’s our rookie stud you bastards, get ready.  Randy Well will have his first major league victory and it will be a sweet one.  Randy Wells is going to beat the White Sox.  You heard it hear first.

UPDATE! Randy Wells start has been pushed back due to a rain delay.  Ryan Dempster will now start the June 17th game.  Wells next start is TBA.  What’s another few days, huh kid?
