City Suites Hotel Chicago
City Suites Hotel Chicago is a Wrigley Field Hotel just seven blocks south (1/2 mile) from the friendly confines. This is walking distance (around 15-20 minutes) for some people but only about a $6 cab ride if you don’t feel like walking it.

The Willows Hotel
The Willows Hotel is located one mile south of Wrigley on a side street just off of Clark is a popular destination for Wrigley Field visitors. It’s less busy than City Suites but doesn’t seem as remote from “the action” as the Majestic and is still priced in the same range as The Days Inn.

The Willows is an architectural gem with it’s vintage ornate terra cotta facade and convenient with it’s walking distance to Lincoln Park restaurants and shops. It has a comfortable yet chic lobby with fireplace and free coffee and features guest rooms with a French countryside feel. My Thoughts On Hotels: Now these aren’t the only hotels near Wrigley Field, but they are the CLOSEST and HIGHEST RATED. There are a couple of smaller ones that don’t even have websites or are not affiliated with larger chains.
But be warned: just because they are in nice neighborhoods does not mean they are nice hotels. For example, the Sheffield House Hotel and the Abbott Hotel are universally panned by reviewers, who describe them as “just a step above homeless shelters”. I recommend staying away from those and using a service like Hotels.com
so that you know the hotels have passed a quality standards test.
